I' m rich...

…and not in a good way :frowning:

Car has had no work done but seems to quite over-fuelly :

  • Have a lot more pops/bangs/flames on overrun. People at Bedford last Friday were thanking me for attempting to dry the circuit out which I read as probably excessive flamage
  • Idle does not seem to be as robust as normal - almost stalls as you dip the clutch coming to a halt.
  • Pretty stinky fuelly kinda stench

So what’s the verdict - Lambda Sensor fooked?

lambda could be awol
worth checking the MAP sensor too
also look for exhaust leaks, letting oxygen in will skew the readings

is yours the K100 or Kpro based hondata? If the latter lets get a laptop on it at the weekend and log the lambda.

Cheers Timothy, Ill give you a bell over the weekend. It’s got a KPro thankfully.

I remember the last time I plugged a laptop in at Cadwell,…it did not end well eh Andy

hah

well I have a laptop with KManager on it, we can at least get the virtual dash up and check for DTCs and see if the lambda is cycling.

How can I ever forget that …

Mine is refusing to rev … I have decided its because its upside down … Bloody Honda’s

Main issue was the vac pipes to the MAF and FPR had split.

Some major works planned which I’ve concluded are probably timely as it will ultimately amount to a disassemble / reassemble…with a couple of extra bits added/substituted during the reassemble.

 Sounds good

Does indeed!!
