I love cold weather!

Last night was the first “cold” night I’d say around our parts and my god the Exige felt so much more responsive! Not only that, but the exhaust was popping and crackling a lot more as well.

So for the guys that are fitting the Forge intercoolers, would you say that you had a similar impact when installing these?

Also, I’m not the most technical person, so can someone explain why my exhaust pops more in the cold air. Is it something to do with cold air being more dense? Whatever it was, it sounded blooming fantastic!!

Exhaust pops as a result of unburned fuel exploding in the exhaust, so dew to the denser air, more fuel is required. so I guess there may be a little bit of over compensation in very cold conditions

Get a chargecooler then everydays a chilled day

Thats similar to what its like yes, the car just performs better. Clearly though the car will always perform better on a cooler day because the cold air is denser than warm air so it does not matter what set up you are running, its all relative.
