I heard the same thing from two dealers and a bloke that works at Lotus that it will be an NA , a few on seloc that say they know for sure it’s the Evora S engine .
I hope it’s supercharged from the start because it will stop me from ordering the Alfa 4C .
ohhh I like that alfa although a v6 sc exige just sounds bonkers
I didn’t like the Evora with the NA engine and wouldn’t have swapped my screaming Exige for it , Supercharger Please and keep it under �50k .
so that’s 345 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque with a 6 speed box. Assuming they won’t be offering the Intelligent Precision Shifting (IPS).
It will surely be nearer 60k wont it?
Evora S 3.5 V6 S 2d listed at �60,065 so shouldn’t Exige be less?

I’m also waiting to see whether i buy one of the new (lower end of the range) Loti or the new 4C. I’m hoping to stick with Lotus just need to see what they can offer other than the Evora which I don’t like as much as my Exige.
IMHO Lotus need to watch the pricing on the V6, the Evora price is just mental , I think the Alfa carbon Exige is going to start at �38k , I also want to stay with Lotus .
Not sure on the likely weight of a V6 variant, but will Lotus throw loads of carbon fibre on it to help keep the weight down? Surely that won’t help them keep the price low if they do.
I’d imagine they will stick to their normal strategy of standard model first, SC model to follow, and then some ‘stripped out’ cup type versions.
