Hubcentric adapters and S2 wheels?

I’m after a spare set of wheels/tyres for my S1 (currently running R888s on the original Rimstocks).

I’ve been watching recent threads with interest but can’t really justify the cost of a set of TMRs, as great as they look, so am considering a set of standard S2 wheels with Eliseparts hubcentric adapters + spacers to run more suitable tyres over winter and in the wet (probably R1Rs rather than full ‘winters’).

Has anyone done this on an S1, and would there be any issues running these on track?

Don’t use spacers on wheels… that is not the way to do things.
You can get away with it for some time… but…

Whatever you pay for the TMR’s you’ll likely get back or close when time to sell.
