Ok, its a bit of a gay question but - how many miles do people get out of a tank (or till it says refill).

I used to have an elise b4 hand so i know the fuel guage is very unpredicatable.

At the moment i seem to get about 130miles before it says refill.

filled My K engined S1 Exige to the top with Tesco super unleaded and did 170 miles before the refill came up last time. I’m guessing that the fuel display is the same on all, mine goes down to 11 litres then over to refill leaving me 10 litres reserve!? On 36 litres in the tank plus 1ish up the pipe it puts my fuel consuption at about 28.5 or 29 mpg driving normally. That was a sunny afternoon fill up though so an early morning fill up should see a return nearer to 30 mpg.

I worked my MPG out the other day when we were figuring out how much fuel to put in to last 20 mins at Snett. My car at full hammer does 6 MPG!!!

I bet Russ’s does less than half that!!!

My tank normally sees 250 miles before I fill up, on one occassion (motorway driving) I got to see 330 miles (but I was cacking myself )

Have kept a log and the best I’ve got was 33 mpg.
My mileage on track is about 12 mpg

my ~S1 K is refilled @ 150 miles +/- as fuel gauge is crap…Now -a- days petrol stations are so far apart I also carry spare gallon just in case.
(buy at your local INDEPENDANT to stop supermarkets killing them all)
12 mpg on track…I agree but dont tell 'er indoors as she thinks its super economical!!!
