Off to the excellent ‘Horizon’ guys again tomorrrow to have my ‘new’ S1 Exige geo’d.
Thinking of also dropping the ride height a bit…
I did this on my Elise 160 and much preferred the less roll and pitch tendancies on the road and track… but suffered a bit with grounding on the road!!!
Any thoughts of HOW LOW should you go with ride height dropping the coil over Koni’s. I think the car is ‘standard’ height right now… my Edwards diffuser is much higher off the ground and I can actually get in and out quite easily!!!
I’m running 10mm lower on Nitrons no probs so far.
Has not grounded on speed bump in our lane…so might try lower still.
At what point do we need to adjust for bump steer probs?
What’s the standard ride-height? It’s 110/120 yeah? I’m probably going to leave mine where it is. I know the previous owner had it set up pretty soft as it suited his driving style, I’ll probably leave it where it is until I get used to it then I’ll have a bit of a play… unless of course it behaves like soap, then I’ll get tinkering.
