How long to fit this lot....

I get my car back on thusday after it being away for about 8 weeks(long story)just in time for the EGP and i have the following to fit…

-change my seats to MOG carbons(have to swap the seat runners over)
-Fit harness bar
-Fit harnesses
-Fit removeable steering wheel
-Fit lightweight dry cell battery

How longs that little lot going to take & does anyone have any tips regarding the harness bar and harnesses?

Forgot to say i’m working full time so i only have thursday night to do it all

TIA marc

Could be a long night!
You will need to trim the plastic around the speakers to get the harness bar in. At least you will have the seats out anyway.
Steering wheel can take some time see bellow for guide

The dry cell you will need to make your own bracket - this alone will take some time.

Good Luck!

I might just take the whole rear panel out for now and refit when iv’e got more time,i’ll only mess up the trimming trying to rush!
Already have a bracket for the battery, bought from sector 111.
Only thing i’m worried about are the runners on the seats, not sure if they are a straight swap or not?

I have the MOG seats with fixed brackets (I don’t know if that is what you are using) and it took me a day to get the drivers seat correct. Because they are fixed you are constantly putting the chair in and out trying to get the correct driving position, I had to trim loads off the runners to get the seat nice and low and in the exact position I wanted, plus it isn’t something you should rush as you only have one chance to get the holes in the correct place. The passanger side was easy as I simply copied what I had done with the drivers seat. Good luck matey!!

I was going to use my existing S2 seat runners. Is this possible?Having not had my car for the past 8 weeks i’ve not managed to trial fit anything.

I used the original seat runner on my Mog seat. As already stated, it’ll take quite a while, just to get the old seat out, & fit the Mog.

Best of luck
