Went out in the car for the day yesterday, probably the hottest day of the year. Went to Chatsworth and around the Peak District, and very nice it was too.
I got caught in the inevitable traffic jams, espcially on the M1 near Worksop. Any way, the point is, in the cabin, all was well, until The engine temp got to about 95ish, and the fan cut in and all was well, engine temp returned to normal. In the cabin though, I realised my vents have lowered the partition glass temp, but the chassis box by my right leg was so hot you could barely touch it on occasion. The other side was fairly hot too apparently. I guess the water pipes travel through it and keep it at such a high temp just when you’re stood still and want it cooler!
I still kept the roof on though.
Has anyone found a way of keeping this secondary radiator from buring their legs?
Andy.
