How happy am I ?

Exige S2 in Saffron Yellow (wife calls it ‘the wasp’) pick it up next tuesday…

more details on car… is an S2 touring with S1 exhaust and Pipercross induction system… also has softop roof conversion…

Exiges.com looks a great site and a good community of like minded individuals look forward to becoming part of that

Welcome!

And good choice!

You’re right, you won’t find a more helpful place on the Exige than here and it’s all free!

That said, you may take a bit of ribbing over the soft top! There’s a hardcore bunch of Exigers that believe it should have a proper lid (I’m 2nd lieutenant BTW ).

ENJOY!

Ian

Thanks for the welcome Ian… I know what you mean with the roof… it was a selling point with the missus, so best of both worlds really…

HEllo everyone,

I am just as happy as speedluver as I picked up my Mk1 Exige last friday. Just fitting all those nice bits that I have on my Elise.

Tom

happy motoring…

HEllo everyone,

I am just as happy as speedluver as I picked up my Mk1 Exige last friday. Just fitting all those nice bits that I have on my Elise.

Apart from the bl**dy soft top!!!

Soft Top to Exige is like Sushi to chips. All are nice but just don’t work in that combination, albeit Exige to Sushi is like chips to soft top. Sushi and Exige works well together both raw and

Upgrades include four way adjustable suspension, remote thermostat kit; s/s brake lines, Ferodo 2500, racing fluid; ITG filter on tbs; cat replacement pipe, racing exhaust unfortunately this has to be replaced for certain trackdays; Verniers etc.

The car one previous owner and 22ks on the clock.

COming back to the Soft top as its a MK1 I am not even sure that you could have a soft top version in any event I still have the Elise (yes Mk1) for that which has all the above goodies and the PTP TR 170 kit to help her move along

In Germany while the Elise is rare the Exige (at least the Mk1) is virtually non existent. I know of one in Flensburg (100 miles from here) that is owned by a Brit. and thats makes it two in the Hamburg area.

Pictures to follow soon.

My softop will rarely be seen, although the car has the preperation, it will spend most of its life with the hardtop bolted on

here are some pics of the car… [image]http://forums.seloc.org/images/upload/Speedluvver%20avatar%20and%20pics/4734.jpg[/image] [image]http://forums.seloc.org/images/upload/Speedluvver%20avatar%20and%20pics/4735.jpg[/image]

have to say had a mk2 soft top elise but i just so wanted a proper looking hard top car and even though i love the mk2 exige it had to be the MK 1 first i just think they look fantastic reminds me of the le mans outing!and there arent that many companies put a lemans car for sale that looks exactly like the road car!
