horn

Has anyone ever had any problems with the horn? “ok sounds abit wrong that” My horn has stoped working and looked at the fuses and they seem fine!. Does anyone think it could be the relay or is a new horn needed? If it is the horn does anyone know if it is easy to do ones slef? Im sure its just a wheel off then inner arches off on the driver side or is there alot more to that?

Definately not, despite the occasional email which I receive implying the contrary!

LOL just what i was thinking Mr P

James on my 07 Exige S its on the inside of the front passenger wheel arch. Need to remove the front undertray to get at it.

If you need a new horn am removing mine for the car as dont expect to be beeping at anyone when racing this year, (also saves a little bit of weight !!)

There’s a bloke on Seloc who says he has a “constant horn”. Can’t see the problem with that

Sure it not just the push in the steering wheel centre ?
Mine isnt brilliant needs quite a press.
If 07 Im suspecting non-air bag

well just changed the relay with no luck, just took the cover off the steering wheel and everything looks fine , fues’s looks fine to, so i am guessing i have got a horn problem

just an update. wounder if anyone can help,? went to change my horn but still no luck, tested the puch switch it is fine, tested the fues and relay all is fine what we have noticed is that when testing the wires from the push switch to the horn connection, out of the two wires only one seems to let a current pass, so two things it could be and hoping its not the 2nd. 1st could it be the connection plate next to the steering wheel that is faulty and the 2nd is, there may be a break in the wire which im hoping its not.
Any ideas?
