Honda S1 shift lights

Any of you Honda Chaps running shift lights ?

If yes, which type and where have you fitted them ?

Thanks

I know Deano over here used the Ecliptech shift-i to good effect on his Elise. Think he mounted his atop the binnacle:

I run a MoTeC SLM, which is no good unless you’re running a MoTeC ECU, but I much prefer mine mounted thusly, underneath the instrument cowl as it’s not obscured by the steering wheel and it doesn’t get in the way of the tell-tale lights like it does if you put atop the steering column cowl.

Ecliptech shift-i

Superb bit of kit - highly recommended.

I have OMEX fitted in the same place but would probably give those a go if starting again.

Using velcro…

Pesky, how do you get on seeing it there? I tested my MoTeC one there and it was obscured by the steering wheel. Perhaps it’s just in the way I sit or my size. Hence why I slung it under the binnacle canopy.

Ha!!!

As you say George, you have never met anyone here!!!

If you met Rob, you would know WHY!!!

Rob is a pixie and has to sit on a cushion.

I heard it was that Rob’s new GF was a pixie and actually sits on his cushion!!!

Lol… don’t worry, I still love you guys  Even though I wouldn’t know you if I passed you in the street (not likely unless you come to NZ for a visit!)… although I’m thinking of coming over to the Goodwood Revival next year

Back on Topic, I thought these would be an easy instal but I am told you can’t take the feed from the tacho as the signal isn’t strong enough and you have to take a feed from the ECU.

Anyone had a similar problem ?

Thanks

Ex77

Nah, shouldn’t be a problem - feed is fine from tacho on S1
