Still toying with the Honda S/C engine
On the options list what are the must have bits,
Oil cooler
Fuel pump
Baffled sup
Hondata pro
Alloy rad
etc etc
And what did you guys with the N/A or S/C engine go for???

Who are you planning to get to do the conversion as that impacts what is optional.
To add to the list I would put gauges for oil pressure/temp as a must as well as exhaust.
You may already have done so but I think money on suspension and brake upgrades are not in the optional category either.
…as well as > SEVERAL > exhaust> s> .
I talked to Sinclaires and they emailed me the cost and list of extras, but the list was long and soon added up to a lot more so i just wondered what boxes some of you ticked when you had the conversion done.
I will have a talk to MSC as well.
Benja who did yours ???
I had mine done at MSC, I had all the boxes ticked and couldnt be happier.

My car was the 1st one done by Sinclaires, and used a lot of Edwards parts, nowadays Sinclaires have all their own stuff made and have offered parts back to Martin & Steve if they want to order them.
My car ia N/A but compared to a S/C spec the only thing missing is the S/C it’self.
From your list
Oil Cooler - You already have one, they are able to connect to that with remote filter housing take-offs etc.
2nd Fuel pump - This is needed and I believe comes with the Sinclaires S/C conversion?
Baffled Sump - Again a definate requirement, is this an option at Sincs as they were talking about making it standard?
Hondata Kpro - If you are not planning on lots of mods, you don’t need the Kpro, my car has it but only because we were trying loads of things out as it was an all new conversion. The K100 is enough.
Alloy Rad - I didn’t, and in hindsight I think I should have, adds extra cooling and is stronger. Mine is okay but there is a nagging feeling it’s a weak link.
The only other things I would recommend for a S/C conversion is uprated brakes and suspension (Nitrons) if you haven’t already got them fitted.
Stronger driveshafts
Tim.
Thanks Mark, your right righty about the sump.

Benja who did yours ???
Mine was done by the venerable Edwards Boyz and is a similar setup to Mark’s. I too did not put the rad in but there is a few bits to do at some point and we may have the front clam off again so…
As Ian was eluding too mine is a bit loud at the moment but boy does it sound good…I just love seeing people spin around on their heels to see what’s coming I went for a 30min spin this morning and got 3xseparate thumbs-up from pedestians Gonna have to quieten it down though I may go SC at some point but tbh it is huge fun with N/A - I have been in Quo’s car a couple of times though and it is properly fast…hmmmm
I taked to Martin and saw there car at the Donny show, and very nice it was to.
Only thing was is the time it would take them to do it.
I know its just a side line for them so hence the time.
How long did yours take ???
Well my car was finished for my birthday at the end of June and I asked them to do it at the exiges day at Croft in 05,…so yeah quite a long time…well worth the wait though. I knew that was the deal when I asked them and they always let me know what was happening.
It actually worked well for me because it gave me plenty of time to get the funds together.
has anyone had the final drive upgraded?
