hi folks, after finding out some bad news yesterday im having to make some cut backs.
it was looking like i would have to abandone my entire project half way through however ive come up with a comprimise.
i currently own a 2006 honda k20 with 28,000 miles. it comes with the gearbox, ecu, loom, all sensors (of which all are complete and not damaged) lots of extras such as fuse boxes air filter and origional box…(worth 100 quid)
the engine is a perfect candidate for a lotus project as it is only 2 and a bit years old and is very very low milage. visually looking around then engine to it is obvious to see the excellent condition it is in, i will happily take some photos of it soon which i intend to post up on pistonheads…parts area.
what i would like is a 190 spec k series with recent belt change and water pump change (with reciepts if poss) it must come with the manifold or if poss full exhaust system, i also want the ecu and ecu to engine loom (you will not need either to complete a honda conversion) air filter…oil cooler etc
please pm me with any ideas you may have…
after a good look around at prices i would consider my engine etc to be a good example, therefore would price my engine to what i want above as roughly a straight swap depending on what you have etc. my number is 07746132530 or pm me. andy.
