bear in mind that the 2.4 l is in a heavier car than the 2.0l so 0 - 62 times would be different in a lighter car

Maddog

You are the only person to think of that

Probably not but its got loads of torque and probably quicker from 0 - 60 and 60 - 100 mph than a type r

Maddog

Wasn’t disagreeing with you at all - didn’t you notice the line of “knowing winks”?

Maddog

You are the only person to think of that

Must have missed those

Ive been umming and arring about getting a 2.4 block to go in mine with a few other mods, cams and some head work.
Although after helping out at silverstone at the weekend with randy and simon im seriously considering going racing, so any plans to do anything further are on hold at the moment.
Heard it gives a lot more torque but little more top end power, also lowers the rev range unless you have uprated engine internals.

Christian

Lowering the rev range would probably make it easier to drive. The Torque figures are much better than that of a TypeR engine, with a few modification you could probably push it up to 250bhp normally aspirated thats if it wasn’t fast enough already

failing that you could supercharge it aswell

One of these

is that a 2.4 or a 2.0l, if its the 2.4 how does it compare to the 2.0?

Bloody hell, Maddog, wake up man!

I read that response you just deleted mr Pesky

Does it not say one of these

Hence the confusion

Does it not say one of these

He meant the bloody supercharger

oh yes, I knew that

He He, calm down you 2, dont want pesky getting over excited at his age
Standard 2ltr type R civic engine with JRSC running 8-9psi between 300 and 310 bhp.

Christian

Don’t worry Quo, young Maddog & myself shared a good few beers over a great week this year in Le Mans, & also since, so it’s all friendly/tongue in cheek banter He’s still an ugly git though!

and half your age

Is it still going strong Christian?

Ian

Hopefully going to spa on Oct 3rd just trying to sort out last couple of things, really want to go.

Christian

Good to heard!

Who’s that with? I really fancy Spa.
