My first Silverstone visit in the Exige, second time on the circuit in all.
I chose Silverstone as I am learning to carry more corner speed and the good amount of run off in most corners allows for mistakes more than most circuits.
I was also focussing on improving my heel/toe work.
I had a great day. The LoT days are always well behaved and have a friendly atmosphere in the paddock/garages.
Some tuition with Malcolm Edeson was most beneficial. I’d rate Malcolm as one of the best communicators from the several instructors I have tried.
Anyway on with the video. 3 laps in High Definition with the disappointment of losing the end of the last lap when the battery died on the camcorder.
Records direct to SD card. The quality of the output for online hosting is a little more involved. Resolution changed to 1280x 720, bit-rate 3000, key frame 30secs (frame reordering on) and deinterlaced. Audio set to AAC 128kbps.
Vimeo hosting is currently free, limited to 500mb per week.

I was a spectator on the pit wall…
Kept a low profile as I was’nt sure I was supposed to be there!
Drove in without being asked for any money etc…
Only official was the marshall in the pit lane as I could see.
Are trackdays open to the public then or did I just slip thro ?
