Hello all!
Im looking at getting an exige after doing a bit of racing
in the 750mc road going bike engine series. Im wanting an s2
and am trying to make my mind up between the 190 and the S. Have test driven both the other day and i did like the way the supercharger felt. Kind of trying to work out if its worth getting a year old S or a few years old 190 and saving a bit of ��. Is there certain years/models to look out for? Is it realy worth going for the S over the 190? Its a hard decision to make! Thanks guys 
Hi there, I bought my “s” 6 days ago and had the same head and heart debate regarding the 190 or the S. In the end I bit the bullet and bought a 9 month old S realising that I would only spend my time with a 190 deaming about a supercharger!! Just do it.

I would second that. Having had 2 111R’s (same 190 engine as S2 Exige) I now have an Exige S and although I was going to go back to an Elise the difference the Supercharger makes has convinced me not to at the moment.

Thank you nope dont want to race it… id justlike it for prob 5 track days a year and a weekend car. It seemed a good compromise rather than having to get a fast road car+a track car, i could just get an exige…
The S is great on road but on track i would go for a standard Exige and sort the bakes and handling
