I posted this on seloc but in case no one here is a member, I am the proud new owner of car 399 titanium exige s1 previously owned by a fellow Exiger.
I made a conscientious decision last year to find the right lotus for me and also booked the French Trip with LOT after missing it for the last couple of years as an incentive.
So finally I picked up my Exige last week (thank you Jamie from B&C for your patience, excellent service and co-ordination as I am working far away)
First real chance to drive it this was morning, many times this week I have been close to pulling that ‘sickie’ from work just to drive it (my commute is boring motorway so this car is for fun drives, not everyday)
So no lay in, up and away to head out for some great driving roads before the masses awake.

Well worth getting up early, It seems this is the only way these days to really enjoy driving roads.
Straight away its great to have that direct steering and braking feel again and to get excited about about actually going for a drive rather than just getting to your destination because you have to.
Hopefully meet up with some of you guys on a trackday or organised trips.
