lads how many miles are u getting to the yoko a048s? and are the r888 a good tyre to use instead?

Both only start with 5mm tread, & much will depend upon ratio of track/road miles, along with weather conditions, how well your car is set up, & your own driving style. Both types wear at about the same rate. As a rough guide between 3K & 5K miles for the rears with 3 to 6 trackdays included, & double that for the fronts.
In other words, it’s really a “suck it & see situation”… good luck, & enjoy 
I got 4500 miles out of my AO48’s with no trackdays, I got somewhere between 6-7000 miles out of my R888’s with two trackdays. I’v sucked and seen and wont be going back

cheers Mr Pesky and Boothy you have been a great help… best thing is i need to change my discs and pads now… trying to work out what size disc is on the front ive got AP 4 pot brakes on the front first time ive changed them all good fun with this cant wait to get new tyres and new discs on it will be fantastic…
