Help please…
I have just received a PM! Party time!!!
However, cannot open it because of the following message…
You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available.
Anyone have any ideas… I have no other PM’s in any folder waiting for any action!!!
Cheers, Pete
go and delete some from your inbox, you have probably hit the 50 limit and it won’t let anymore come in.
Nothing in my inbox at all… I have tried to send from my outbox and I get the same message!
All my previous PM’s were deleted, I believe in line with another post on here as part of the new site!
Ade, perhaps you could try sending me a ‘test’ one… gp_fisher had a go but I received that error message…

I seem to recall that once you’ve deleted them there is a button to press that releases the pent up ones.
yeah took me ages to figure out, the message is actually is button if you click it

No innuendo intended… Honest
So, despite my age… can you tell me where that ‘button’ is then!!
I cannot see anything that looks like that… (screen shot please!!! luddite here! )
Sorry you are having trouble with pm Pete, do you want me to send you another once you have it sorted?

As Tim says the text ‘Release all on-hold messages’ is clickable and when you click it, the torrent of pent-up messages explodes onto your screen
The Badger scores!!!
Many thanks Ben! Clicked on that and my ‘torrent of pent up messages exploded’… all one of them!
Worth the wait however!
Pete, I received your PM… tried to reply but it won’t send!!!
Anyway, please email me at [email protected] ok!
Cheers,
Pete.
Pete,
Mate, no idea WTF is going on with trying to send PM’s… but mine just ‘sit’ in my outbox!!
Anyway, thanks for yours! Yes to all your suggestions ok!
Can you please email me direct!
Cheers,
Pete

I think they sit in the outbox until they’re picked up by the recipient…unlike traditional email.
… how bizarre!!!
In that case, Pete will have many duplicated messages as I have tried to ‘attack’ the issue from many angles!!!
Cheers Ben!
I understand most airliners fly themselves these days. I wonder why they evolved the technology to do that
