Hi all having some major snags getting the exige started, the car indicates there is no fuel (even though there is at least 10litres in the tank) and the fuel pump won’t stop priming when the key is turned. The car does turn over but won’t start. So far I have tried disconnecting the battery?
Have you reconnected the battery ???
Haha, yes I got that far and obviously still no change?
Have you tried bump starting it?
No luck bump starting as either there is no fuel or too much fuel.
I have now checked all fuses and checked the inertia switch all of which are ok any other thoughts?
i’ve has an injector stuck open once…
This would cause most symptoms youre having ?
Fuel disappearing … difficult start…fuel pump whirring…
Have resorted to the breakdown truck and car is on its way to Christopher Neils
Just curious , has your car had the cn 260 conversion?
Yep it has, I will let you know if it is an injector failure but I think a stuck fuel pump relay might be the cause last time it was used was the (very wet) Norlog trackday so water ingress somewhere may be to blame?
I had exactly the the same problem a couple of years ago on the way to a trackday, turned out it a relay box behind the bulkhead that had corroded
Mine went to CN’s and they found it straight away, cost a couple of hundred quid I think
I wonder if it could be this…

A similar thing, it was the same problem that Mill had. Unfortunately one of the fittings on the accusump failed on the way home do I still missed my track day!
