We have an S1 Exige and the battery is dead, but we can’t get the bonnet open. We have tried pulling whilst pulling the latch, we have also removed the wheel liner and are trying to get it undone there, but the air con pipes are in the way.
How can we get this open?!
My other half needs it for work in the morning!!

Oh and we suspect the front of the bonnet has come loose which is why we can’t release the rear latch!
Get someone to pull the release on the handle, whist someone else wiggles the front hatch left, right, forwards and backwards. If the pin is out of alignment, this should allow it to open.
If the cable is really stiff to pull, press the bonnet down then try it.
