All,

I have made some steps towards speeding up the site a little. It was hardly slow before but it should be faster now.

I have just enabled a system called rocket loader. If you notice anything strange that worked before let me know and Ill take corrective actions.


** UPDATE ** It knackered the picture uploader so reverted.

Hi Andy, keep up the good work. One thing Iā€™ve noticed recently is that sometimes when using the search function it locks you out when you try to page through the results saying you need to wait however many seconds before attempting another search. Thanks.

I am still quietly working behind the scenes at a potential revamp as discussed a few posts back.

I have started to implement a realtime chat. I dont know if people would use it but its there.

Very impressed with the seamless improvements to the site - in fact, itā€™s only when I find myself thinking ā€œIt didnā€™t do that beforeā€¦ā€ or similar that I notice stuff has changed!

The people that develop the forum software over at zoesport.co.uk have released a new build. I have upgraded zoesport to validate the changes.

As soon as a reliable importer is released I think we should have a reasoned debate if we should migrate across or not.

I am just trialling out reactions to see if you would like them to be used. I find them more expressive than just a ā€œthanksā€ that we currently have.

The reaction button is on the top right of a reply. Ignore the thumbs up , I might get rid of that if you like this version better

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but Iā€™m still having issues using the search.

Usually I can get the first page of search results up, but then as soon as I try to go to page 2 I get this:

Not sure if thatā€™s an easy fix?

That should only happen if you are in as a guest and not signed in ā€¦

Yeah that might have been itā€¦ just tried it again whilst signed in, went down to 18 seconds this timeā€¦!
