Hey folks
Just picked up an S1 Exige in Titanium. Had S1 Elises for the last three years so expect to be visiting the Tech Section plenty going forward
Anyway, hope the ownership will be relatively painless but hopefully entertaining. If there’s anything I should know up front, let me know before I assume its an elise with a roof and make an 4rse of ownership!

Hi, loads of good stuff in the techie and on SELOC.
Post a pic or two, we all like to drool over S1’s even if we can’t quite convince ourselves to give up the few meagre comforts offered by an S2.
If there’s anything I should know up front…
All I can say is that the Exige S1 is quite different to an Elise S1 - in many ways I remember I hated the car on my first testdrive (even if it came out to a 400km weekend), and in the meantime I just LOVE it - it’s different, spectacular, fantastic, loud, extroverted, flashy, exceptional, dirty, roaring, racey, funny, groovy, extraordinary - it’s Exige enjoy it!!

Picture of the Exige on its first proper run along with my Elise (driven by a willing volunteer). Not totally convinced I should sell the Elise at present but as the insurance is good for another two months, I’ve plenty of time to decide
First impression is that the Exige is soooo different to the Elise - power is much higher in the rev range but just keeps on coming. Not so practical but hey. Loving it so far
As I said on SE, glad you are enjoying the car.
On our euro trip, every time I looked in my mirror and saw my bros I missed it!
