Heater fan motor replacement.

The fan motor has died and I am trying to replace it with another Bosch motor. Has anyone else had this problem and found a motor supplier.

I am looking for somewhere to rebuild my motor but then I will have to find a new fan as I knackered the old one taking it off.

landrover part.

not a direct swap, but minor modification needed to use it, (3 new holes, nylon spacers) job jobbed.

Cheap too, and works brilliantly.

Hi

I had seen this on the other forum.

The one on my car is a different type of box and it has a Bosch motor and I think yours is a Gate motor.

Mine has the three bolt mounting but then it has a sleeve around it and a jubilee clip that fits inside the box.

I am back at work now so cannot post a picture. If yours is still out the car would you be able to measure the OD and length so I can see if the Land Rover one is the same sort of size as mine.

I bought this one to do up not realising AC cars are different. One of the contacts needs repairing but I believe it works, according to the chap I bought it off. It’ll be going back up for sale at some point for the same price I bought for £85. Either or no worries
