my 04 s2 exige heater is only blowing hot air, all fan speed working ok, just will not turn to cold air, nob turn’s but no diffrence in temperature,have the front clam off to get it painted,is their anything common on this model,

Yes very common problem on S2 Exige the aircon pipes in the sill rub and wear through and the gas leaks out if your doing it yourself I think Lotus now do a raplacement kit with different pipes. If you want a dealer or specialist to do it’s best part of �1200

Could also be the actuator…as mine was stuck on a certain temp. last year, took it into to a dealer and they replaced it under warranty.
Currently, it blows luke warm on cold temp setting, but thats purely to do with ambient temps being so high. It’s fine when I switch on the aircon though.

found the problem today the flap in the heater box was stuck, i moved it manual a few times and now it work’s fine.john
