Anyone fitted a heat shield under the I/C ?
Or are they only good for re-entry !!!

Mate I did a heat shield way before RLS, in fact it was not long after I posted my design on Lotus Talk that they suddenly came up with something very similar

Yup , bought the RLS on with gold foil on the underside also applied heat shield tape to underside of I/C. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/Motorsport/Car_Preparation/Heat_Shielding_Protection/CoolIt_Thermo_Shield_Tape/1471/2053
It’s covered in gold on the underside but as yet I still need to re fit it. I did the bottom of the ic too. After the dyno I will be re fitting although I do think that alot of the heat soke comes from the induction heat when there is no cooling air passing over the ic.
I had one 3 years ago made by John from JSRacing works a treat even under my charge cooler
