When peeps have fitted an aftermarket manifold on their S2 have you tried to fit any heat shielding back on. I presume it is not very good for engine bay temps if you don’t.
looks as though on the Hangar 111 one you can fit your heat shield back on , but the 2bular one you can’t or do you just use heat wrap.
I got mine coated, but apparently most just run without heat shields ok.
I put extra behind the manifold where it runs close to the boot and catch mechanism. Also put more above the silencer box after it got a bit schmokey in the boot
Put nimbus between the manifold and boot. Have previously wrapped but now coated. Once under the boot just leave it open. Smokes a bit to start but then settled down.
