I drive with the headlights on for visibility/safety at all times.
I have been driving the car on the motorway in recent weeks and have found a headlight flash to let some pull into 3rd lane ahead of me is rarely seen even if I can see the driver looking in their wing mirror.
Is it the headlamp design, height of the car or both?
Anyone else observe this?

Do you have the aux driving lights too?
Nope 2008 model when they took them off the car.
Mine seem ok but I do have driving lights, you got standard bulbs in? If it has could but better bulb in that might help but could well be other drivers just aren’t looking properly.
I was considering some stronger bulbs but I think they fail MOT
I have the nightbreaker+ in mine and it is so much better than it was and no issues with MOT 
As Ade says … these bulbs are all you need .
soooo much better and no downsides at all
