I’ve just read the new ‘Planet Driving’ magazine. Can’t say I’d recommend it. Most interesting bit was a piece on night driving by John Lyon. He said it’s not illegal to upgrade your headlamps with more powerful bulbs. He said he likes 80watt dipped, and at least 100w main beam.
Has anybody tried uprated bulbs in the Exige? Any idea whether the wiring is up to it?

Just looked in the manual, stnd is 55W - so 100W is a big jump! - I would have thought that if it was possible Lotus would have done it, but then again they do tend shop to a budget!! (My diplomatic hat on!)
If you find out I’ll have some better ones too - It would be nice to blind the BMW drivers for a change!
