1st why do some models have 3 lights & some 2 ???
2nd can you separate the lens cover from the unit ???

They are super expensive from Lotus and demand a high price second hand. If you separate it and I believe it’s bonded be careful, it’ll be costly if you mess it up.
I heard a rumour that the old two light design had some issues of melting in very sunny areas which caused a redesign. As Jonny says, any are mighty expensive.
