I never thought I’d see this on a Yota engine, but I’ve noticed some powdery white substance on the tail pipe and tonight a wierd oily/white looking slick on the driveway which seems to have welded itself (ie it looks a bit like white paint) can’t be totally sure it’s from the Exige yet, but I’m fearing the worst. Checked oil and it’s clear, no mayo on the inside of oil filler cap and the coolant looks ok.
I can recall a post recently on Newcelica.org from a very good knowledgable reliable source that said it would be very very rare if this were the case.
its funny you should mention that because a good friend of mine has just had a crank oil seal failure on his S1!
