Article in the Sunday Times today, Harry M’s top 6 car investment recommendations for 2011. I’m glad to see that at number 5, he’s placed the S1 Exige:
Haven’t currently got the article to hand, but I think it went:
Ferrari 550
Lambo Countach QV
Porsche 964 Turbo
Aston Martin Vanquish
Lotus Exige (S1)
Porsche 996 GT3
They’re for driving, not investment. I fookin hate museum/show only cars

“I think they’re prettier than the S2”
He needs to go to Specsavers
Doesn’t matter if you use it or not though - its always good news. Sure, if you ‘use’ it it won’t gain like a garage queen, but it’ll still go up.
And if its going up in value, it gives you an excuse when your wife/gf/partner gives you hassle about spending money on it

Both are totally stunning, & beautiful to the eye, so it’s entirely down to personal choice - bit like some “famous” women we could all name

zonda
lambo x 2
Yes, I saw this. It is good news, even if people are buying it as an investment only. In truth, I suspect that anyone buying as an investment would not be able to resist the urge to drive the thing…
Anyone want to buy an S1???
Has he sold his 550?
The ol’ S1 does seem to be getting some rather decent press recently…
Mine is def not for sale.
btw was there any mention of VHPDs becoming ‘investable’
