Just wondered if anyone had heard of one of these being fitted to the S2 in place of the MP62 ? on other cars that use the MP62 the HTV1320 is already being used as a performance upgrade with quite amazing results.
These guys offer a kit but i cant figure out if it includes a new manifold or uses the standard one??
I’ve been offered one of these superchargers at a price i cant ignore so might just take the plunge if i can find out what else i’ll need.
Any ideas? (constructive comments pls (!) - i already know i dont need more power and must do driver training, etc, boring…snore…zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. What can i say power corrupts )
Not sure if the SSC kit on the link includes the same stuff the BOE kit does but i’ve been offered just the 1320 supercharger on its own hence my concerns about what else i’ll need (manifold?).

I have all the details of the SSC SC upgrade kit, call me for a chat if you like.
But no not the same as the BOE kit. This one has been developed by the guys at SSC in Australia!! Uses a standard Exige SC inlet manifold, However the SC inlet elboow is special, (cast especially for SSC)
Complete upgrade kit for the Exige is about 4000.00 plus vat and fitting (last price i had) The Elise kit which also includes a charge cooler system (which can also be used on the Exige) is about 7000.00 plus vat and fitting.
I’ve always said I would swap the MP62 for the harrop - they are very expensive though, be interested to know good price you’ve been offered it at!
The harrop is a great deal more efficient than the MP62 and will run a fair bit cooler. The vx220 lads are swapping their M62 chargers when reaching 300bhp to harrop to get up to 370bhp. You’ll also loose the supercharger whine moving to the harrop!
I believe the BOE kit uses the Harrop, but with a modified Blitz manifold.

Be interested in this upgrade, but I don’t need all the ECU stuf, just the charger manifolds etcany ideas on price for that?

Cournaysport were importing the chargers for 1500 incl. Vat in a group buy for the vx220. Otherwise try Eaton direct, but shipping costs from down under can get pricey.

I picked mine up for 1400 USD 2nd hand unused and still in the box. Keep them peeled they do pop up cheap from time to time.
Ade/N1VES - if we can get the required ancillary parts fabricated then there’s no need to fork out the small fortune that SSC charge. Bearing in mind the 'charger isnt that expensive and it fits (I know I’ve seen one fitted to an Exige S) how hard can it be
So whats the next step? I have the charger (and the car) just need a tuner/garage that fancies developing the kit (fabricating the brackets, etc). Should be a good, straight forward upgrade for Exige S owners once developed…
Courtenay brings back memories … they had a water injection kit for turbo mantas … pretty impressive results at the time … more grunt than the works motors iirc …
…adding NOX / no2 would seriously upset ya gearbox !!
Just re read … is courneysport a reincarnation of Courtenay I wonder ?
Jeez it is too ! Just Googled em …Blimey they were just starting out 25 years ago when they blew the competition away with the water injection stuff , pleased they have stood the test of time
