Harnesses and foam strips

Hi All,

I’m just putting the finishing touches on my rebuild and there’s one bit I pulled out I can’t quite remember how it goes back together.

I’ve got the sports seats and harnesses, and when I pulled it apart there were 4 strips of thick, dense foam that were stuffed up the top of the rear speaker panel, wedged between the panel and the harness bar… I think they were to stop the harnesses sliding along the harness bar but can’t remember where they go.

Does anyone else have them in their car?

They’re about 1.5" long, by about 1" thick, by about 4" long.

Just wondering if they were standard fit, or whether someone just put them in at some point.

Cheers,

George.

George I have them on mine so must be std, I think they go along the top front edge of the speaker panel. I took it they are just there to stop the panel rattle.

Thanks for that… the next question is exactly how do they fit in? does anyone have any photos or can they describe it in detail? I want to stick mine back in!
