Harness Fitting

Hi All,

Since selling my exige s I’ve bought myself a little s2 190 .

I’ve taken the corbeaus out and put them in the loft and bought myself some 211 probax seats with Toyota runners to put in.

The car itself has no inertia belts in and I need to buy new hardware to mount the seat / harness to the seats.

Seeing as all the corbeau hardware wont fit the Toyota frames…

Can anyone help as to what I need to order either from msar or lotus ???

I’m not sure of exactly what you need but when I put different seats in my S2 Exige hanger111 had the passenger seat mount and s conversion kit for the driver’s side. They may not be what you need but Marion (I think), knew what I needed. Worth a call.

Are you planning on adding the inertia reel belts back in, or are you just looking for hardware to mount 4/6 point belts?
If you are aiming for the standard setup then you could view all the parts on the Deroure website.

No I’m not, the car left lotus motorsport with no intertia belts in and I get on with the harnesses.

Its more the passenger side with the single shear bracket in not sure about as ive try to show in the photos here

Watching this with interest, when my harnesses go in I’m really considering binning of the 3points. The bonded in fixing for the lap belts really makes me nervous as it is, and the elongated fixing to allow both 3points and harnesses in concurrently can’t be helping.

I’d rather a bit of inconvenience whilst driving, as clambering into this car is a bloody event as it is - a bit more grief can’t hurt. :lolno:

Ok, I understand now. Yes you will need a new subframe for the passenger side seat in order to fit the harnesses properly, as the standard one doesn’t allow the double sheer fitting as per the drivers side.

As Tim mentioned if you speak to Marianne at Hangar 111 pretty sure she will be able to help.

Found this while doing some idle browsing.

Think that’s what you need.
