Hi all, first post on here so I hope someone can help me/ give me some advice. I recently have moved from an Elise to the Exige and am concerned about the handling of the Exige, it feels like it picks up on the camber of the road very easily and where I live the roads are nice and twisty but can be a little bit bumpy in certain sections which leaves me feeling like I am battling the car all the time to keep it on the right line. The car seems to pull towards the left quite a bit but is this the norm due to the camber of the road? I don’t recall this being an issue in the Elise and was wondering if it has something to do with the tyres or suspension (front shocks have been changed recently), which are different to the Elise. I had the geo done at a very good garage who once sorted the handling of my Elise out, but then again it might not have been the same person doing the geo as before.
So to sum it up is it the geo/ the norm/ something else?
Thanks for your advice

My exige (s2) does ‘tram line’ a lot more than my old s2 elise cos the front tyres are wider and stickier.
Bumpy roads can be a pain.

Mine does too - it is to do with the camber and other settings on the car. It gives the race car feel!
do you know what the geo settings are? It would help if you knew these and posted them here - ask the garage to confirm what they set the car to if you don’t know. Maybe they have used settings that don’t suit you?
Thanks guys, puts my mind at rest

Sorry stevegreen, i don’t know what the settings were. i will talk to the garage the next time i visit them and see what they say, speedyellow on PH suggested settings somewhere between standard Elise and Exige may suit me better.
Thanks

More camber and wider/stickier front tyres are the culprit.
But the pulling slightly to one side means the geo is slightly off (or your tyre pressures).
Thanks that was very useful, had been experiencing the same feelings myself particularly on indented roads, cheers.
