Nice to get out again today, took my Son out for a spin upto Hawes and the Buttertubs Pass. I am glad that the Highways Department have patched up the roads in the area, must be getting ready for this Summers cycling event. Signs up already by the farmers wanting you to book parking spaces
Lucky bugger,Pete. I was working but tomorrow I’m heading in the same direction as the sun is supposed to be out in North Yorks, planning lunch at the GreenDragon at Hardraw( our exiges.com Christmas/new Year venue for those who weren’t able to make it) and a look round Castle Bolton.
Car Iooking fab as always,Pete.
Thanks chaps, I am just going out to wash the car now then watching the juniors play a cup match against Kendal.
The car is running as sweet as a nut at the moment, just enjoying driving it which is what I bought it for, shame we are not doing Anglesey next month but at least I won’t be there holding peeps up on track.
Thommo enjoy your run out today and the food is very good there, are you taking Mrs T with you ?
Car does look excellent. Lets put it this way, its the only green car i have ever lusted after… That and the S1 version in the same colour scheme.
I’ve had a veritable feast of it this weekend also. Yesterday i managed to get out in the 160 for the first time this year just driving around the doors and a blast up through the city. Today I have been on a run up the Northumberland coastal route to Bamburgh Castle today in the new Elise. What a great little car it is, needs a bit more gettng use to the left handedness of it all though on the roads, walls down the lanes are awfully close!
Posted earlier but it vanished.
Had a run out, Hawes, Castle Bolton, Leyburn.
Finally found some sunshine, Mrs T once again unimpressed with the comfort and qualities of the Exige. Roads quiet which is more than can be said for Mrs T. Some slight splitter damage due to carelessness at Castle Bolton and encounters with a gravelly narrow lane and a dozy policeman.
Back to watch England see off Wales.! Good day all round!
