Hey Gav - that’s a cracker, well done that man! 
Not completely sure about the wing, but the best is so much better than the standard car and the 400, the GTE is pretty much prefect. Having the vent behind the door and in front of the rear wheel breaks up the massive bit of nothing, where you can see where they added the +2 bit.
There is a picture of a black standard car with a gte kit but with the normal wing which does look well. Ive heard it mentioned that mine had a normal wing when DB had it but never seen any photos. Either way I love it how it is, it’s just got so much more presence in the flesh.

Its strange, I like the pictures of the black ones but in the flesh they dont work as well to me. Not that all the others on the road are black has anything to do with it!

So what’s the verdict over the std Evora then Gav? I will have nothing to compare it against.
Mine is not due until July now… 
July! That’s a bugger! Its hard to say at the moment Gav. Obviously, as Im running it in, I’m not pushing it and its nearer the limit that I presume the handling will vary from the standard. I always found with my others that they felt very civilised during normal motoring and it wasnt untill you pushed them that they came alive, where my exiges were ‘alive’ all the time. I’m getting use to the gearbox slowly so each drive feels better. Other than that, initially the driving experience its pretty similar to standard tbh. For me the main big difference is the presence it has, even just parked up! Its not for the shy and retiring thats for sure.
Im booked in cpop parade laps with the historic lotus club on the 12th June and first service on the 13th! Bugger should have done that the other way round lol. I do think yours is going to be stunning in silver with all the exposed carbon, possibley the nearest to the original concepts.

Really pleased for you though, we are both very lucky in the fact there will only ever be a handful of people who will ever get to drive and own one. Cant see them changing hands too often either tbh.

The nightfall blue looks almost flat in anything but strong sunlight then it comes alive. Yes I would like it to be a keeper!

Gav,I feel very luky to get one, im wandering round with a constant grin at the moment!. You’re right, its not something that’s going to come up for sale very often, that’s why I had to try and get one (after seeing it in the flesh). Just got to keep my head down and push on with work so that I can keep it. It will be good to have one in a light colour as all the ones in the dark colours hide the GTE’ness. Have you decided on the spec of your interior yet? Plenty of carbon I hope!

Do you know what it weighs Gav? I assume some of the body panels are carbon so it should be a tad lighter than an S say?
