So far I’ve only driven it for half an hour in traffic last Night. Seems daft getting a new car and then having to use public transport! Off to brooklands later. Still got 850 miles running in to do. Do like it though.

Have to say 21GG was the nicest, gold stripes almost hide its special and make it look lf1, and can’t see the carbon on the black one.
Well caught up with rob knight and went for a short play. Im still running it in and having to adjust my brain to an auto. In auto mode its just that but in sport better and in manual a lot better. Early start back home tomorrow, no doubt i will be at a meet soon.
Muu, Iknow what you mean about the carbon, think the GTE shows the carbon better on lighter colours. Though I do like my exec GTE. Also found DB’s home address in the sat nav in case anyone wants to check the standard of building work!

Really fab car Gav, has a really classy purposeful look to it. There was some fantastic machine there this morning, but yours and the Red Honda 340R were the stand outs for me.
There was only a 2xS1 Exige, both silver, one with VHPD the other with SC Honda,…both lovely. Lots of S2 there and one particularly lovely M/S Green one. It was also great to see so many V6’s, Lotus certainly seem to have got some traction with the V6.

Simon, yes my lotus condition seems to be worsening at an alarming rate, I had only had my S SR 7 months! My names gavin and ive got a lotus addiction! There you go, ive said it, I can only get better now lol.

Made it home and I can confirm it fits in the garage without issues. Just planning my running in and first Service before Goodwood fos!
Enjoying more now I’m getting my head round the auto modes on the gearbox.

The car looks fab just in the pictures Gav, how are you liking the Lotus sports exhaust compared with the 2bular you had ? Does it have a valve switch or not.
No it doesn’t switch, its hard to be precises with my dodgy hearing but probably on par with a normal s in sport mode or maybe a little louder. Nowhere near the straight through of the tubular. No its not switchable. If money was no object it would be nice to get one made that did just for the times I wanted to have some fun 
, but I’m happy how it is being honest.
As I’ve said before, unlike a normal Evora which can go under the radar this cant as apart from the looks its, noisier and in sport mode blips the throttle quite noticebly on the down changes.
