Give it a while and I bet someone out there will be making a bigger wing and a Motorsport Roof. [/quote]

I am making these up in feb

exigeboy or anyone else for that matter, are you planning on going for the full width rear wing and relocated pylons too?

Well he clearly can’t keep the orignal now it looks like that!

Ian

you kept that quiet!

It will be hard to keep it quiet when the exhaust is fitted!

That is seriously tempting. I was deliberating on getting something a bit sexy done to mine when I take it for it’s 9,000 mile service in a few weeks. How much was the vinyl if you don’t mind me asking? What exhaust are you getting?

I think realistically I want to prioritise uprating my brake discs, then maybe induction and exhaust. Would love to see more pics of the stripes with the whole car in the frame for the full on effect…Reckon they might look a bit pants on mine, having the silver wheels…

The Beast is there to be driven, Mr Crossland, sir. Managed to open it up at the weekend on the first dry roads for quite a few weeks and it gave my something to think about I reckon the engine’s really freeing up.

All sorts of thoughts running through my tiny mind at the moment involving stripes and the switch to black wheels. Don’t know if Lotus Sport would let me do it though as I’d have to find someone to buy the silver ones…

I am sure plenty would be interested in your weels
Some thing tells me you might be better off getting them powder coated or something. Knowing Lotus it could cost you a few to swap.

Nice one fella we like to see em driven. I had to weigh anchor as I used up mi 7500 miles allowed on this insurance scheme in 9 months - and then I was using it conservatively I think I would have been hot on your heels otherwise!

yeh surely you can get em painted? they’re not magnesium or owt funny are they?

Like the idea of striping up like the GT3 - if it looks pantaloons you can easily whip em off - bit of a no brainer really as long as the cost isnt an issue???

Ozzer can we get some more photos?

Details, please! I’d love to give my car a more agressive look. Will the wing attach in the normal position, or on the clam? Are you doing a complete roof or a separate scoop to attach to the existing roof?

Sorry for the thread drift, Roof will be complete unit with scoop, I’ll be making motorsport rear wings and s2 wings aswell in different sizes, doing loads of other bits aswell in fibreglass and carbon

Sounds great. I’m looking forward to seeing the results

nice ozzer…

plenty paint jobs kissed armco… but that’s the first time i saw a car disguised as armco

Your digi camera wouldn’t also let you talk to people would it …

Looks excellent it has to be said… just need a big wing now

Looks very cool - well done Mate

If you don’t mind me asking, how much did they charge? Also, is that a Larini exhaust?

PS Like the way they’ve “colour coded” the LOTUS lettering.

Sinclaire’s done the vinyl’s for just over 200 + vat.
The exhaust is an Arqray from www.sector111.com with a Larini de-cat pipe.

Ozzer

I reckon that’s a good price from Sinclaires, as I would imagine they must have spent 4 to 5 hours doing it

Exhaust looks very tasty too

Nice!

Just need to sort out the spoiler now.
