I think you’re going to need to borrow the infamous JonnyFox Dremel
Yep you’ll need wrap your car after
It probably looks wider from the front as the front wheels can no longer be seen from the front of the car, this in effect increases the frontal area of the car, but not the overall width.
what did they do wishbones wise on the V6?
It also looks wider because the clams not properly on the car yet. It needs some Jonnyfox dremel work to sit flush.
Longer wishbones I believe, but the subframe is different so probably not compatible. You would still need bespoke driveshafts.
Bloody hell thats light for an S2 exige S, Mine was 930 with half a tank of fuel when on the scales at nitron…
It has since had the cup 260 wheels fitted but mines A/A not chargecooled. It does have super touring pack fitted though and stock manifold although thats not 15kgs…
Whats yours, sport pack? how much fuel did you have?

Weight envy Boothster?
Mine was 922kg with half a tank of fuel charge cooler and accusump radio AC etc. However I do also have quite a bit of carbon and an interior like an S1
Mine was 922kg too with tank, sport & touring packs.

It’s just got the sports back, but with the touring park carpet all retro fitted. I also had sound insulation under the carpet and behind the bulkhead, which I’ve now removed as it did naff all! Weighed a bit too! Not really done any weight saving yet, still got the std battery in too.
With regards to fuel, there was one block on the gauge. Im expecting it to be under 900kg once we’ve finished with it.
I did read that thread… who on earth would want to spunk that sort of money on a rebodied elise/exige?! Cant see any takers for that.
I have to agree!!!
I agree as well. Who would want a car with massive overhangs??? I dont get what he is trying to achieve. If you want to fit wider wheels then go GT3. As has been said there are three people selling those clams and at least two companies that I know of that will do a nice job of fitting them for you. Very strange. Sounds like a good way to dispose of 50k to me. But I guess we should wait and see what it looks like.
I personally love the venom. I think if someone did a revised rear subframe that would allow fitment of an inline V8 and then supplied the bodywork to cover it, that would get some interest.
Doing a widebody Exige is just retarded…Get some driver training instead…
hahahahahahahahahaha
That’s just so last year - what you need is aviation fuel, & a massive twin pump fuel tank in which to contain it.
Avgas rocks …
Cmon Jonnyfox , ramp up the octain , ramp up the compression , advance your sparks and show the > driver training + forced induction < crew who,s boss
