fred, the �1050 is including fitting. They are giving 10% off for 5 people. Neil did they say if there is more discount for more people? Custom map is another �195 +vat personally this year i would need to stick to the base gotham as i cant justify cost of further mods plus custom map and fuel pump right now. Provisionally my name is on the list and i think i have another guy too so thats 5 already.

The 5 people will normally be easy to get… so let’s think about the next discount… (here, there, and there … and all lotus forums )
I also asked Andy for more information, to be sure that we don’t travel there for a cup of tea (which is certainly excellent)…

I’ve had a quote a week or so ago, Gotham/custom tune/uprated fuel pump all in �2018 
Hopefully that should be reduced a fair bit I hope with a discount.

I’m not convinced you will need a fuel pump, I only need one when I got to nearly 300hp running a boost upgrade charge cooler 2bular manifold etc.
I was just starting to run lean at the top end with 9.5psi boost you should be fine, Dan would tell you if you are running lean when he does the custom map 
But trust me you won’t need it…

I think I will just go for the base package as I cant justify custom map plus manifold and sports cat (to make it worthwhile) at the moment.
I have asked if they supply taylored maps ie if someone has a stage 3 and TRD map already on file can that be supplied rather than the standard one? Also does anyone know the cost of a custom map at a later date? Its �195 +vat with the gotham.

Boothy, it will be great if they can directly provide the map with standard changes (exhaust + TRD) in account… just 2 clicks in place of one, right?

Boothy, we never have to forget that the customers are… us… If I motivate my folk here, it’s one day trip… so the best the package is optimized, the more people I will get…
By the way, we are not so far from Komotec, so hope that everything at Sinclaire will be done to come with a good offer to cover the time spent in the boat or in the burning train…
On my side, I have already started to get extra people on the french forums.

Sent them an e-mail yesterday but had no reply 
Do you guys know about the turnaround time for the whole exercise? I was told 3 to 4 days as the ecu has to be sent away to have the new map hard coded (if that’s the term) into the ecu otherwise the ecu will re-learn/reset to the original map.

They told me for a custom map at a push arrive 9am and leave at 6pm but may run into 2 days, this was at a push though. normally a couple of days.
I cant justify custom tune this year so I’ll do that next year with a manifold and sports cat I think
When I see all the fight/noise on Seloc, I prefer to wait a few days to get an answer. There is no need to hurry on this, it’s better to have one or two persons to discuss the discount with Wayne/Gil than having 20 people asking the same and pushing hard …
It’s just my vision.
Had news back, they dont do the optimised maps, I have asked why as I am sure they must have them and its an easy way to make another �100.
10% is the max they will go does not matter how many we get.

I am still waiting an answer to my email sent on 21 July. I was asking the timing and the details of the installation (dyno runs before and after for me are necessary if the ECU is re-flashed with new injectors).
