A few us got together at Lakeland Motor Musuem yesterday (some even cleaned their cars when they got there! )
Some interesting cars turned up:
After the tyre kicking, me & missus went for a sightseeing drive - glorious afternoon out on very quiet roads:
Duddon Valley Rob?
Was the Stratos a real one btw?
No it was a Hawk replica Tim.
Nice pictures Rob, the car park was full and we could’nt get out until after 3.00pm

Duddon Valley Rob?
Hi Tim
Photos taken at Great Langdale, Tarn Hows & Blea Tarn…decided not to risk Wrynose in the Exige. We ended up at the Wateredge Hotel at Ambleside for refreshment
Nice scenery and the car is looking great, Rob. Super angle for the ‘new’ paint job.
Thanks Pierre - see you in Budapest on Weds - hope Wes can join us for a beer or two over the weekend
thommo:
Love your handbag,Rob
Cheers Steve - useful for carrying the spare driveshaft!

Great pics Rob
Having all that on your doorstep is why I know living in London can’t be long term for me…glorious.
Langdale area is lovely
I’ve heard Wrynose/Hardnott is a no-no for many cars now due to deep potholes so a wise move there. Wateredge is a good call too.
Yep some great places over at lakes
