Graphite Grey

Hello,
I’m a new user from France (sorry if my english is not perfect ), but reading you for 10 days .

I plan to buy an Graphite grey S2 Exige in a few weeks (when my S1 Elise will be sold), but it seems this is a rare color and I just found one or two pics of these cars.
Maybe you could help me to see more of them ? …

Thank you

Can’t find an exige but is are a few S2 Elises

Thank you Snapper, nice pics

Do someone know why this colour is an “extrem paint” ?
( looks like the old “gun metal”, doesn’t it ?)

It’s just the ‘Lotus approved’ way to get you to part with more cash I suppose by pricing it that way you buy some exclusivity, although the ‘extreme’ laser blue now being offered looks just like the old standard metallic of the same name. Go figure

Tim.

yes, that’s what I thinked too…
so no real justification for the “extrem paint” price vs the metallic colors ?

Its a Porsche and BMW trick as well…old colours (laser blue) cost more to spray obviously!!..To pay extra for metallic paint is always hard to swallow…but to pay more again for a colour that they used in the past is a rip off.

no more pics with beautiful Exige ?

Not one to defend the ripping off of punters but…I always thought the cost of metallic paint was acually more expensive per litre to purchase in the 1st place; and if you are having a non-standard colour (even if it is an old one) won’t it have to be either hand sprayed off the standard paint lines or the kit will have to be cleaned and prepped specifically for you. Either way its easy to see that there is an additional cost?

but why lazer blue is now an extrem paint for example ?
