I have seen threads on here before where people have put stripes etc on their cars using vinyl.

I wanted to know how you clean the car before putting any vinyl on - I occasionally get issues (there seems to be no consistency to it) with the decals going on fine, but after a day or so bubbles then appear (which is immensely frustrating!). I wondered if it had anything to do with the cleanliness (silicone etc from waxes maybe?) of the surface?

Are you applying them with soapy water to start with or straight onto dry paintwork?

I always go for a bit of lube. It’s never a good thing going straight in dry!

Soapy water - though I use fairy liquid and I am wondering whether or not this is the right ‘soap’ since it will have other additives in

You need to use your [color:#000099]manly[/color] liquid to stop the bubbles! :smiley:
