…after i read that it’s better to upgrade to an all aluminium radiator - it came with the car anyway. :laughing:

I think the fan is the same one i have on my '72 Touring.

I think you may have fitted the fan 180 degrees out. Shouldn’t the flat on the right of the fan in your pic, abut the edge of the rad (to the left)?

I had it right the first time and then i realised i had the connector on the wrong side and turned the fan around.
