Do any of you have it mounted on the GoPro rollbar clamp on your harness bar?
I’ve used mine mounted on the rear window via suction cup, and it works, but I’d like it lower and thought I’d mount it on the harness bar using the GoPro rollcage clamp.
However, the plastic trim behind the harness bar sits too close and gets in the way of it going in place. Wondering if anyone had a workaround.
Possibly get the tripod mount and then use anyone’s rollcage mount. DogCamSport do one that shouldn’t need much clearance. Tripod mount is cheep, dog cam mount less so, at least for what it is.
George…as I am a tight fisted Git I made my own clamp form 2 X exhaust pipe clamps and a bit of notched broom handle …paint it all black and it looks OK…clamp it to harness bar or even through radio slot for a better view through the windscreen…My main problem was lack of control over exposure…mounted on the harness bar you get good driver shots but overexposed track shots…move it nearer the windscreen and you lose the driver but track is OK.
Do I understand you have recovered from the fire??

Good luck. [/quote]
There’s a setting on the GoPro to sort out your problem. Try changing the spot meter setting.
