Goodwood noise limits

There was a query in the big bum thread about noise limits at Goodwood and I gave my understanding fo them, here’s the official line…

NOISE RESTICTIONS:

�Goodwood Days� (up to 5 cars or motorcycles on the circuit at any one time): 105dbs at three-quarters maximum revs and 101dbs at 10m drive-by from track-side.

�Road Traffic Days� (up to 10 cars on the circuit at any one time. No motorcycles): 98dbs at three-quarters maximum revs and 96dbs at 10m drive-by from track-side.

So whats the difference between “Goodwood days” and “Road Traffic days” ?

Just the number of cars on track, the locals can handle 10 cars per session at 98 but only 5 per session at 105

Depending on the TDO, they’ll maybe do 20 cars in 15 min sessions at �250-300ish on a 105 day or 30 cars in 20 min sessions at �200ish for a 98 day
