First time at the Festival. Strong Lotus presence
They invested a fair amount of dosh in the display with Jim Clark’s R6 in a glass box to mark his record lap at Goodwood at the last F1 event to be held there. There was also a stunning graphic to illustrate it being played in a loop on screen. Really impressed.
Looks like a mini revival of the brand from obscurity
Yep, and it’s great they are making more of the heritage.
And then . . . we popped into Bibury on our way north, planning to stay at a classic boozer and what did we find en route . . .

Hell of a spot.
Very cool Steve, certainly worth a visit. I’d like to go to FoS next year.
Hi Jonny, you will not be disappointed. A run out to the Cotswold Motor Hub would be pretty easy from your neck of the woods, I would think.
I think their main meeting is first Sunday of the month. Coffee shop looks top drawer and the man selling Scotch eggs is well worth a visit.
Sounds good thank you Steve. MOT tomorrow, PPF Monday
I went on the Thursday, ( free tickets!). Much quieter than the other days and nice to wonder round without making like a sardine.
The dealer who sold me the exige was there and we had a bit of a chat.
And…
…. about old times!
I said that Lotus weren’t making a car at present that I’d spend my hard earned on.
Cool pics Steve.
FOS is great, we went 3 years ago but need another trip, this time in a Lotus though.
