Not sure how to start. I bought my Exige from UK in 2008. Had some fun with her but then a 1yr contract in China came a long and she was locked up in the garage for a while. At the same time the original engine was giving up. Using as much oil as fuel. Eventually I went for a Honda SC martins install with Quaife LSD. Although some say it interfere the originality it does bring the car so much life. Weight and balance was somewhat influenced so defined my own Öhlins kit and springs for it (Im a chassis engineer). Only slightly upped spring rate keeping the car very drivable on the road.
1yr China became 8yr. I just came back and now doubting what to do with her. Interests have changed.
Is it a good time to sell? Should I hang on to her? What is a going rate for this car? Will she continue to gain value as non std?
2000 Silver Lotus Exige with Honda S/C 320Hp install and 2-way Öhlins dampers and slightly upped spring rates. Front cooler changed and larger fuel tank. Suspension overhauled and coated.
Car is in the far South of Holland only 1,5h from the channel tunnel.
Well well well …wondered where you had been …I can vouch for this car as I have memories of it departing my drive way in the snow…it was on the trailer though. …and I eventually bought the VHPD.
Research values on here and SELOC. But a K20 converted car must be worth more than the other S1 around which is £39k after preparation.
Remember there is nothing that can give you the sublime drive of the K20 S1 s. Purity.
Think 5 times before selling. I should have done.

Values range from 36k to 40k+ depending on spec of car… Great car to have though but i am bias as i have one too. Would seriously think twice about selling due to rarity and nothing else matches the smile factor and its a total beast. I can see these reaching approx 50k in 5-8yrs with the K20a SC CC install and a high spec i.e. nitrons, AP Racing big brakes, nice interior etc etc…
